Discovered some of your ancestors lived at Flintham? 

The Flintham Museum has a wealth of material to help you with your search, including:

  • transcripts of the Flintham parish registers

  • copies of census details

  • transcript of the school admission register, 1874 – 1930s

  • plan of burials in the churchyard

  • list of burials in the civil cemetery

The museum has recently received an extensive archive of family history material relating to the surname ‘Flintham’. The archive was compiled by an uncle and his nephew who lived in Yorkshire.

We are currently working through the archive to understand its complexity and methodology so that we will be able to deal with queries.
