Keeping the Home Fires Burning? Exhibition 13 and 14 June 2015

An amazing amount of material has been amassed about the impact of World War One on the village of Flintham and its residents. An interactive exhibition of the major findings was staged in June at Flintham village hall.

Visitors were invited to make up their own minds about how well villagers coped at home, at work, at play and at school. There were lots of fascinating stories about Flintham families.

The exhibition was the final event of a three-year Heritage Lottery Funded project.
