'People, Places and Patterns'

An exhibition of photographs taken by Trevor Clayton took place on Sunday 29 October 2017 at Flintham Village Hall. Trevor, one of the museum's founders, was a professional photographer from 1966 until his death in 2005.

This, the first exhibition of his work, showed a selection of his photographs, many in black and white of local scenes, local people and the unexpected richness and diversity of patterns in everyday natural objects. Tea and home made cakes were available as well as cards of some of the photographs. All the proceeds went towards the upkeep of the museum which is in need of new carpets!
