The museum's first book, Flintham Looks Forward, A Nottinghamshire Village 1913-1928, is now available.

Museum volunteers have been working with people who have dementia and their carers for some years. Thanks to Sandford Cascade a grant was awarded in 2018 to research and develop activity kits about the 1960s which are taken to Memory Cafes, social groups and nursing homes.

In common with many smaller museums, we are closed until further notice. However, volunteers have been busy in various ways behind the scenes.

We may be in the middle of a pandemic, but here at the museum we have decided to look on this as an opportunity to rethink what we do and how we do it. There will be two Flintham museums in future - a physical museum and a digital museum.
